Our dishwasher was not functioning well because of all the white film inside. I am really happy to say that my dishwasher is now functioning like new! No more funky taste in the water. There is a big difference in the taste of Crystal Light and other powdered mixes, the flavor comes thru much better. I did a taste test with my cats and they picked the reverse osmosis twice, even after we changed which side the drinking water was on. I am using much less lotion! We really like that we have the option to take the system with us if we move. Everyone we have dealt with at Aqua Clear has been wonderful! I especially liked all the follow up to make sure we were happy with the product, the installation, and the retesting of our water.

Service has been excellent from Aqua Clear! We are happy that after showering our skin doesn’t feel dry and stiff anymore. I’ve noticed that my car doesn’t have spots after I rinse it. We operate Limberlost Cabin, a beautiful rental cabin, capable of accommodating 19 guests overnight in the Smokies above Gatlinburg. We want our guests to have a wonderful experience during their stay with us to keep them coming back.
Our cabin’s water supply is a deep well. Unfortunately, the well developed sulfur and our guests were complaining as the strong sulfur smell became very objectionable. The hot tub was a nightmare to keep clean and appealing. We knew something had to be done and quickly.
After meeting with several professional water treat companies, we made the
decision to go with Aqua Clear Water Systems. Unlike the other companies,
the Aqua Clear technician performed a free thorough water analysis on-site, and he explained the various systems they had that would work with our well water chemistry.
We chose the maintenance-free, no chemicals to add, self-cleaning sulfur and iron unit, and the system functions exactly like the technician said it would.
At the agreed-upon time of installation, the Aqua Clear installation team arrived and completed the installation on time. They were professional, courteous, and cleaned up behind themselves.
It has been two months now since we installed the system. The strong sulfur was immediately gone from the water. I could not believe how fast our hot tub problems went away. In just a few days, the water in the hot tub was just sparkling, and the amount of time we have to spend now cleaning is minimal.
As part of Aqua Clear’s service, the technician who originally came to our cabin retuned yesterday voluntarily to retest our water to insure the system was working correctly. (At “no charge,” I might add.)

I just wanted to drop you a line to THANK YOU and to let you know how happy I am with the whole house Kinetico water system that was installed in my home. I have only had this system approx. one month but can tell a great difference in a very short period of time.
Before this system was installed, my skin would be very dry within an hour or two, and that was after I used lotion all over. I had to use a dandruff shampoo because of a dry scalp. Thanks to the water we have now I need not use either. My skin is not dry and my head is no longer flaky with dandruff. It has made all the difference in the world.
Also, we used bottled water all the time because our water tasted like clorox. The water now is great. You said there would be a big difference in our coffee and tea, and you told the truth – what a difference it has made.

Once again I would like to express my appreciation to you and the entire
Aqua Clear Water Systems Team. As you know, it was a life changer for my
entire family when we purchased the system for our home in 2008. That
system was also one of the major upgrade items that helped to sell that
house in 2012.
Well I just want to say that when we moved into our new home, every one of
us immediately felt the loss of owning a house without the Kinetico Aqua
Clear Water System. From the taste of the water to taking a shower, it was
a very distinct difference between the two homes. That very night we all
agreed that we could not continue without the Kinetico System.
The experience was just as I remember in 2008. From first meeting with your
sales representative Sarah, to Shannon and Josh, the two technicians
conducting the installation, the entire event was conducted with the utmost
professionalism. Your installation team showed early, worked diligently,
and were finished and cleaned up ahead of schedule.
I have very little room in my garage and needed the equipment to take up as
small of an area as possible and in addition I had specific drainage
requirements due to my B Dry Waterproofing System. Both men quickly
surveyed the area and in no time came up with a plan to meet all of my
specific needs.
Upon inspection of their work after installation I once again found the
system to have been placed into service in a very well organized and
professional manner. I really must say that four years later you still have
a great team.
You can take pride in your company and in your entire staff for they are
obviously a team that takes pride and ownership in everything that they do.
Oh by the way I took Sarah’s advice to flush my water heater prior to the
installation of the system. In doing so I flushed out what looked like a
shovel full of hard water deposits all over my driveway. It made me feel
very safe to know that I would no longer be drinking that stuff anymore.

Hi guys,
I just wanted to share a story that is almost too hard to believe! But trust me on this, it is true.
A couple of weeks ago, we had a power outage that apparently blew one of the circuits for our power. Nothing indoors was affected, but we first noticed the garage refrigerator wasn’t working. Sure enough, the outlet was not receiving power. We ran an extension cord and kept everything frozen and just sort of let it go. I was a bit on the lazy side, as I was so busy at Advance that I didn’t have time right then to get an electrician out to the house.
So, fast forward about two weeks. I started to notice the showers didn’t feel as fresh and that the toilets were getting dingy very quickly. Both of those have been very unusual with our water system. Still, I didn’t take time to go check the system.
But here is the real incredible part of the story. What finally drug me under the house to check the water system. Our cat, Nando, had been loudly and fairly visibly complaining and not drinking his water for about the last two weeks. He started knocking over cups and trying to get into sinks for water. But he wouldn’t drink much from the sinks either. I thought he was getting sick or something may be wrong with him. He would knock his water bowl over, spilling the contents. He would go without water instead of drinking it.
Finally, Carolyn mentioned she had felt a difference in our water too. So, I went under the house and checked. The power had been knocked out to the system too! So we had basically been reverting more and more daily to unfiltered water. Carolyn wondered aloud if Nando wasn’t drinking because he didn’t like the taste of the water. Well, we got the water from the kitchen with the separate reverse osmosis system and filled his bowl with it. He about drank it dry!!!
I thought it was an incredible story about how the difference in the water was so noticeable in flavor, that even the cat didn’t want it after having filtered water for many years! You simply can’t make this stuff up!

Dear David:
In the late fall of 2011 your company installed a whole house water softener/purification system in the home in which I grew up. This house was built in 1951 and has been in our family for the entire 61 years.
I wanted to wait a bit before I sent you a testimonial letter to make sure the system has done everything you informed me it would and that we were happy with the product. It has been almost six months now and I can tell you that my wife and I love the Kinetico Water System. It does exactly what you said it would do. Our water is crystal clear and all the taste is removed, no more chlorine or other chemical smells or tastes. The water is so very soft and that coupled with the wonderful soap you sell makes taking a shower or a bath a real pleasure.
As I told you, I have had skin issues since I was in junior high school in the early 70′s. You had said that the water system would have a dramatic effect on my skin and you were right. I cannot tell you how many thousands of dollars I have spent on sprays and creams over the years and by simply changing the water, I don’t have to use these prescription products anymore. To Whom It May Concern:
Our well water is hard, and we have always had problems with scale, in spite of spending $1,125 on an Easy Water® system. The Easy Water® did absolutely nothing for the issue and, in our opinion, was a waste of money. Calcium deposits accumulated from the get-go on new ceramic tile and oiled bronze bathroom fixtures and, as we found out, several other places.
Our Navien tankless hot water heater and Honeywell humidifier, in spite of the Easy Water® and regular maintenance, started having issues from scale build-up shortly after they were installed. We ended up spending another $500 on an inline cartridge filter for the TWH and were about to spend $400-plus for a reverse osmosis filter for the humidifier. That’s when we heard the Aqua Clear ad on WOKI and called for an appointment.
From the initial contact through installation, each representative was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and customer-oriented. Out went all the piecemeal fixes, replaced with a Kinetico 2060S and an Aqua-Kinetic model A-200 for drinking water.
It’s now been one week since the system was installed. We had not realized the full extent of the effect the hard water was having on our tankless hot water heater. With the old filter, we needed to turn the temperature control in our shower as far as it would go to get hot water. Now control is precise and lukewarm showers are a thing of the past. Also, clothing is emerging from the washer noticeably whiter and brighter. This was a pleasant surprise, one we had not anticipated.
I could go on and on about sparkling dishes, condition of skin and hair, and the need to use considerably less product for anything water-related. Suffice it to say we are thrilled with the crystal clear water (ice cubes too). We couldn’t be more pleased with the entire process and highly recommend Aqua Clear Water Systems as the go-to company for any water treatment needs.

P.S. Update:
It has been one month since our Aqua Clear Water System was installed. The white deposits on the oiled bronze bath fixtures are dissolving, and the clear glass shower enclosures no longer require elbow grease to remove water spots, which always appeared in spite of post-shower wipe-down. Dishes, and even the kitchen sink, sparkle. Ice cubes are crystal clear, the water is delicious, and we’re sure it’s much healthier for us (we drink at least 64 ounces per day, so this is a major benefit). Aqua Clear delivers everything promised, with a few surprises to boot. We are very pleased with the company, the product, and the results.

“Aqua Clear my kind of people!”
To Whom It May Concern,
Our house in the Wears Valley area is our second home. It is supplied by water from a 265′ deep well. There is a couple of problems with the water that has caused me much grief and frustration over the seven plus years we’ve owned the property. A trace of sulphur & a concentration of a type of iron in the water is the condition that requires a positive change.
On attempting to eliminate these undesirable characteristics, I have been misled by and disappointed in some so-called water conditioning experts. Another company did help in getting rid of the sulphur problem by selling me a chlorinator tank & pump and a retention tank. The iron problem they never attempted to eliminate. The iron when in contact with chlorine turns an awful brown color. This is not good when time comes to relax in a clean, warm, water filled hot tub.
So I continue my quest. I contacted three other “expert” water conditioning companies. Two of them respond with proposals after water testing. The other company never responded. One purposed fix was at a cost of $4,500.
The other fix was from ECO Water System, a local firm, for a cost of $2,900 plus change. They claimed their iron filter with its media & air injection features would completely solve my iron problem. They installed the filter & were on their way. I gave it a couple of weeks or more to wake up & do its thing but I was not happy. The water still had color & the air pump kept stopping when it wasn’t supposed to. I called ECO Water, they came up tested the water, routine, and said that the filter was plumbed in the water line in the wrong location. They wanted the iron filter down stream of the retention tank, even when they were the ones who placed it before the retention tank. I changed the plumbing at my expense. This change resulted in little or no improvement to my situation. To shorten the story, I continued dealing with these people for two years with them telling me something different every time they were called back.
Finally I contacted Aqua Clear Water Systems through an internet search. They came and tested the water, recommended a system and guaranteed, in writing, that their plan would rid me of my problem. I gave them the OK. They installed their filter. The water is crystal clear, tastes great and my wife and guests are not complaining. “It’s a miracle”.

Ever since moving here over a decade ago, we had had problems with our well water, in spite of other companies’ efforts at addressing the issue; and we eventually started buying drinking water, as the well water was unpalatable.
The tap water had been “spitting” at us for several months, and at first we had thought it was due to the water level in the well being low. When we learned about Aqua Clear Water Systems, we called, and Mike Crawford came to test our well water. Aside from the hard water and other contaminants we were already aware of, Mike discovered we had methane in our water. The “spitting” was due to bubbles of methane in the pipes. He and the other staff at Aqua Clear proposed a way to handle both the methane and the other contaminants and to give us safe, drinkable water.

All I Want in My Drinking Water is Water
We recently moved into a condominium downtown. We fired up the ice maker in preparation of making my favorite year-round beverage: iced tea. What a disappointment.
I was convinced I had done something wrong. It was disgusting. It almost tasted rancid.
The culprit? It was the tap water.
So over to the grocery store I went for my two cases of bottled water.
The result? Great tasting tea.
That was until I added ice cubes. I was right back to square one. The same odor and bad taste I had experienced earlier had resurfaced from the ice cubes.

“Thanks for convincing us to take the plunge”
I just wanted to let you know how much my family appreciates the filtration system you installed in our kitchen. As you know, we had a really hard time drinking the water when we first moved down here to Tennessee. It simply did not taste right to us. As a consequence, we drank much less water and substituted less healthy and much more expensive alternatives like juice, milk and bottled water. Obviously, this was a bit of a hassle since we couldn’t simply walk up to the kitchen sink and get a quick drink of water. We had to go to the refrigerator, pull out a bottle and typically drank less than the whole container’s worth. What then to do with a half empty bottle?
The filtration system has alleviated all of the hassle and the taste is phenomenal. Eileen only uses the filtered water in her cooking and we can taste the difference. Great to be doing the water thing again.
Your installers were great. They had the system installed in no time. They also responded immediately when we thought there might be a problem with the installation which turned out to be a leak from one of our other water lines under the sink. We were very thankful for the leak alarm.
All in all it’s been a great addition to our kitchen.

We have had our Aqua Clear Water System in place for close to 3 years. We have the entire house on the filtration system along with the drinking water system.
The difference I noticed immediately, was our water upstairs at the bathroom sinks. Usually, when turning them on you would get a whiff of the “chemical” smell. Not sulfur, but a more of a mineral type smell. Anytime we needed to get a drink before bed, it was terrible. Now, I allow my children to have cups in the bathroom for a sip of water anytime they need it, and my husband and I will drink from there as well-and I am usually no fan of even bottled water!
We have completely stopped buying bottled water, where before we purchased cases just to avoid the taste in our tap! And we live in the middle of the city, with arguably “good” water. The filtered water faucet at the kitchen sink, very contemporary and stylish, is wonderful for drinking and for cooking.
It was hard to break the habit of using so much soap, shampoo, dishwashing liquid and clothes detergent, but with the softening that the filtering system affords, we have cut down on use and costs there as well. It is something you have to do or you are swimming in bubbles! For people who use name brand cosmetics and facial cleansers, they last twice as long as before because you will use much less product at a time. Also a nice savings for your family.
The feel of the soft water is great.There is a misconception that it is slimy or you cannot get the soap off, we do not feel that way at all. In fact, what we are noticing is that our skin, which tends to be dry in the heated house in the winter, is noticably different this year. Now that is amazing!
As far as Aqua Clear goes, their service is direct to your door. Their staff is friendly, their service men are on time and I felt safe as they installed our system-in less than a days time!
I would highly recommend Aqua Clear Water Systems to my friends and family without hesitation, and routinely do.

This is to verify that I have been using a Kinetico Water System installed and maintained by Aqua Clear Water Systems since December, 2008. Since its installation the system has worked flawlessly. Prior to installation my wife and I experienced topical skin rashes caused by contaminants in our local Walker County water system. Mike Crawford of Aqua Clear was particularly helpful in helping our dermatologist diagnose that the dominant offending agent was excessive chlorine in our water. My wife and I are very grateful to Mike for his timely help. The Aqua Clear staff have been wonderful in their support of the system after installation insuring that the minimal maintenance required by the Kinetico system is done on a timely basis. I could only wish that all businesses provided customer service to the high degree of excellence exhibited by the Aqua Clear staff.
Furthermore, since installation my wife and I have experienced no rash outbreaks. We no longer purchase any bottled water and we have either given away or discarded whatever “pitcher” filtration system we had. My wife and I drink copious amounts of water and enjoy tea and coffee provided directly by our Kinetico system. I haven’t enjoyed such great tasting water since we lived in Colorado and would drink from a steam fed directly by the Saint Mary’s Glacier. Two weeks ago, I had an Aqua Clear Water System installed in my home. Let me preface this letter by saying that I am an RN and my husband is a Vascular Surgeon. Being in the medical profession, I had exhausted all avenues with several dermatologists in the area. I have had problems with my face breaking out in red blister-like patches. These will take weeks to months to clear up, sometimes causing me enough pain that I have to take Advil and go to bed. The only thing that remained constant in my trails of various face washes, shampoos, lotions, and prescribed topical medications was the water that I washed my face with. I began to wonder if I was allergic to the fluoride in the water. That is when I contacted David Brewster. I would like to take a moment to thank you and your team for the professional installation of our new Kinetico Well Water System. Scott and Bobby were by far the most professional technicians we have ever had performing a service at our home.
Over the years I have become very leery of allowing anyone to work in or around my home due to the basic “quality/character” of the workers that have shown up. This was not the case with these two. We found them very polite, courteous and friendly. As technicians they were quite knowledgeable on both the operation of the system and their task of installing the product. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. The finished product was very well organized and laid out in professional manner. It was evident that these two individuals take great care in the work they perform.
In the past I have had some unsavory workers show up that I had to either chase off or make sure I was home while they were working. In August 2005, we moved into our new home. In 2 months we began to have problems with our water in which we were not getting cold water in certain areas of the house and the water was heavy with chlorine smell and taste. I removed one of the Kohler valves in the master shower and discovered the screens on the valve were coated with limestone buildup and green copper corrosion. I cleaned the valve and re-installed it in pristine condition. The heavy chlorine was another issue. I had our local water source test our water and they said it was in spec. After routinely taking these valves apart and cleaning every two months I looked for a solution to the alkaline buildup on our valves and eliminating the chlorine that was causing copper corrosion in our pipes. There are a number of systems and claims on the market, but I narrowed our search down to the Kinetico system. Before the system was installed I took apart the shower valve and photographed it, cleaned it as usual. In 5 months I have not had to clean any valves and we have not bought any bottled water. A neighbor who was looking to install the system wanted to see one of these valves after 5 months with my system. We took the valve apart and it looked as good as or better than when I last cleaned it!! Another neighbor, also looking at the system, wanted to test our water. We used a PUR test kit. Our water was perfectly neutral PH, zero chlorine, no traces of lead or copper, no bacteria and all trace tests were in normal range.
